18 Year Old Having Painful Hemorrhoid. Medication?

I am an 18 yo college student.I have a hemriod on my anus . Just felt pain today when i woke up. Ive had it once before it went away right after application of jelly that the doctor perscried to reduce the actual size of the hemoriod not just the pain and swelling . I need to know what else i can use to have the same effects because my father no longer has health insurance. ( i am currently working on eating a more fiber filled diet, and will use stool softener for the pain. )

Hi,

For piles you can take stool softener like Cremaffin syrup. It's advisable not to take excess spicy foods. Drink lots of water. Anal water sitz bath can be beneficial. If no improvement and piles doesn't subside than surgical management needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
