Thanks for writing to us.
After a bout of serious infection it is normal for a child to lose some weight. It will take her around 6 weeks time to regain her lost weight.
You can give her kerala banana for her breakfast as long as she likes it. Try to give her a light and easy to digest food which is according to her likes so that she relishes having food.
Adding fruit pulps and fresh vegetables to her diet will help in building an immunity against any further infections.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
