hello, i am 15 years old and i m wondering if i have throat cancer . i have only smoked about 12 cigarettes. about 1 or 2 a week. when i cough, it hurts my throat and just starting today, my right ear has been hurting a little (on the inside of course. and i have had a history of ear infections) i sound like im losing my voice at the beginning and end of every sentence. it feels like there is a ball of spit/mucus deep down my throat that i can not seem to swallow/cough out. i am often feeling uneasy in my stomach and lightheaded if that has anything to do with it. is this throat cancer?
you have got throat infection and due to infection and due to this infection there is enlargement and pain in lymph node below the ear.
you require an antibiotic course and you will become alright.
Do not worry about cancer,it is not.

I have dry mouth from taking WellbutrinXL. I have had sores in my mouth on the right side for the past 10 weeks. I have never smoked or drank alcohol. I had this in November too but 10 days of Keflex cleared it up. I took Keflex again 6 weeks ago and the condition improved but didn t go away. Is it throat cancer? I m a 60 year old female. (My father died at age 58 from toncil cancer but he smoked heavily) Thank you! Tricia

My two year old got her ears pieced in march. We cleaned them properly for the first 7 weeks. She had no issues. A few days ago I noticed dry crusty scaley skin around the back of her ear in a ring right around the hole. I peeled it off with tweezers. It didn t seem to bother her. The front of her ear looks fine. I have been back to cleaning them twice a day since I noticed it, but the back of the one ear looks really inflamed in the afore mentioned area and in a spot where the ear meets the back of her head. Is it an infection or some type of excema and how should we treat it??
my 7 month old was very unhappy yesterday and cried a lot. This morning I noticed that her right ear has a lot of wax which has dried and crusted in the outer ear. There were also yellow patches on her cot sheet which I presume was wax. When I went to touch the ear today she complained, should I assume this is an ear infection and will it heal itself or do I need to see a doctor tomorrow?
