15 year old taking insulin for type 1 diabetes. Will there be any complications during pregnancy?

Greetings doctor. I am writing this for my sister. She is 24 now. And she has been using insulin from the age of 15 twice daily. She is a TYPE 1 (juvenile diabetes ) patient. Now we are planning her marriage. But we are worried about her case. Will this issue cause any problem with her marriage life and pregnancy? Is this condition a risk for her life?
