10 Year Old, Had Vomiting, Been Through Mood Swings, Crying Jags. Puberty Signs?
Hello Dr. Christensen- I was just online researching....my daughter is 10 and is showing signs of puberty and I feel like we re only a ways away from her first period...today she vomited at school and showed no other signs of discomfort, but the last few days included lots of mood swings and crying jags...just wondering if the vomiting was a fluke-y thing or is it something that might occur monthly.

During menarche (onset of periods) one does not have vomitings or any other problem. Some girls may have a griping lower abdominal pain. Occasional girl may have mood swings but other causes must first be excluded.
