Brief Answer:
It can be arthritis or a muscular issue, more details are needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I understand your concern.

Your symptoms can be related to many different medical conditions.

Some other information that I need to confirm the diagnosis are

Did you lift something heavy lately? It can be a muscular issue.

Do you feel heat or swelling in the area of inner thigh? It can be a blood clot

How old are you ? It can be osteoarthritis which aggravates with age.

Meanwhile, I would recommend using anti inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.

I would also recommend using Voltaren cream for local application.

Cold compresses can also be very helpful for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
