Brief Answer:
Food poisioning likely bacterial in origin.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms you are describing are mostly suggestive of Bacterial gastroenteritis (commonly called food poisoning started 2 hours after food ingestion is again suggestive of bacterial contamination).Fever is suggestive of presence of bacteria. Its a natural way by which by contracting muscles body generates heat to kill bacteria's.Severe weakness is due to loss of fluids and electrolytes like sodium and potassium from blood.Loss of appetite is due to inflammation of intestines.
Stool analysis and culture are required to confirm the diagnosis. Management is with antibiotics (usually Rifaximin is given) for which you will need a prescription. So please be advised to follow up with the urgent care.

Meanwhile, drink plenty of water and electrolyte containing drinks like Gatorade. Follow soft diet. BRAT (Banana, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast) diet will be easier on your tummy.
No egg or high protein diet.
Treatment-(if you can manage a prescription)
Get Electral/ORS solution from local store/pharmacy and give him at least 200ml or sip it as much as you are comfortable with.Loss of sodium and potassium from body causes severe fatigue etc so immediate repletion of these electrolytes are necessary.(Its over the counter)
Tab Rifaximin 550 mg once daily 9 a.m
Cap Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily in morning empty stomach 6 a.m(over the counter)
Tab Zofran 4mg as and when required to reduce nausea feeling.(It's over the counter)
Stop hydrochlorthiazide its a diuretic and would cause loss of fluids and electrolytes(till you recover).
Thank you.
