Question: my husband swallowed a lozenge and it is stuck in his throat. He can breathe and talk. Should he just cough it out?

Hi,

As long as he can talk, breath and isn't hypersalivation, it will eventually go down. Monitor only at this time. She he develop severe pain, breathing difficulties or unable to swallow saliva, seek immediate medical care.
