Question: i'm taking two anti-depressants -- ibupropine and venlafaxine -- and i still feel sad, lethargic, no interest in anything, heavy, slow. Do i need an adjustment in the meds or is there something else i can do?

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I read your query but failed to understand the name of first antidepressant. As per my information there is no antidepressant which spells Ibupropine. I guess you are referring bupropinion or this was auto correction my laptop/phone.

Please name the correct medicine.

I look forward to assist you further.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
The dose of bupropion should be increased

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Although the symptoms described above are indicative of depression but feeling low, low energy and and feeling lethargic are best respond with bupropion. Although I am not sure what dose you are taking but I must state that 150 mg of bupropion can be increased (upto 450 mg per day). The above recommended is based on the fact that routine dose of bupropion is 450 mg per day for otherwise healthy person like you.

I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
