We have the ENT do what they do in the office, er didn’t do anything, X-ray is from dentist, primarily stated maybe cellulitis (she has had that before in her ear from earrings- this doesn’t resemble at all)

Brief Answer:
Blocked salivary gland.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
I see the photos of your beautiful daughter and the right cheek is swollen.
I believe that it can be swollen salivary gland and not mumps because she has done mmr vaccine.
I don't think it can be cellulitis because the skin is not red.
A total blood count with formula is needed and the ENT doctor should recheck the salivary gland.

Hello
Thank you for your feedback. He did check them and pressed on them ? One thing I forgot to mention, she’s been on antibiotics for 7 days thus far. In regards to the X-ray- while I know not the best image for determining what’s going on, any insight?

Brief Answer:
MRI should be done.

Detailed Answer:
She took antibiotics but the swelling is still going on so she should get further checked.
I think she may need to do an MRI to get salivary glands checked or find out the reason of swelling.

Hello,
Thank you again for your response. I will push forward for more testing! It seems impossible to get anyone to take me seriously on this. Do you feel the X-ray showed like a mass or anything malignant ?

Brief Answer:
Continue with the MRI.

Detailed Answer:
The MRI can show the construction of salivary gland and if there is a blockage.
The malignancy is not common at this age.
Please follow up doing an MRI and don't forget about blood tests , total blood count and biochemical blood balance.
Wishing her good health.
