Brief Answer:
need further evaluation...

Detailed Answer:
Hello Bhawna,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...
I've gone through your query in details...
I can understand your concerns...

Well, to some extent, any kind of injury to the knee joint/ligaments during yoga (especially due to overstretching) can give rise to such pain and discomforts...

Since it's been 10days already, I'd suggest you get an X-ray (AP and Lateral view) of the affected left knee joint done...along with this, please get it checked up by any Orthopedician nearby...

Meanwhile, keep applying Volini spray twice to thrice daily...avoid any kind of massaging without supervision)...

Additionally, you may also apply some dry heat (eg. warm water-bag/heating pads) three times daily...
A mild pain killer i.e. Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) 650mg twice daily after some food can be taken for the time being...

Avoid cross-legged sitting, avoid any form of folding the left knee for the time being...Try to keep the left leg a bit elevated, please avoid any strenuous activities, weight bearing on the left leg, for now...

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take Care
Kind Regards
