Brief Answer:
Amitriptyline, Clindamycin, Tramadol. ANA blot, allergy tests.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. Assuming that dental, temporomandibular joint disorders and sinusitis have been ruled out, you may take amitriptyline (at night), a course of clindamycin and tramadol in addition if pain relief is inadequate.

2. An MRI (non contrast) would help discover any salivary gland problems.

3. An ANA blot test will help rule out autoimmune disease.

4. Sometimes an insect bite or allergy can cause similar conditions. Allergy tests can be done.

5. These situations are rare and often no single cause may be identified. If this settles, no further investigations are recommended.

6. Clindamycin is a lincomycin class antibiotic ( not penicillin). It is better to check with your doctor for any adverse drug interaction ( with your current medication) before starting the abovementioned medicines

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
