Brief Answer:
Ultrasound abdomen is required for confirmation

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per your symptoms, the possibility of prostate enlargement is very high.

This requires diagnostic confirmation through ultrasound abdomen scan.

Without confirmation, it's not wise to go with flomax.

Further management if any is largely based on test reports.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these tests to you.

Okay I got to do the ultrasound.
Does a hip bound injury cause prostate enlargement I don’t know yet but I was hit by concrete on my left hip bone but I think a miner internal injury could cause BPH.
Can epididymitis left untreated for 10 years could cause prostate inflammation . If no infection present but slight inflammation in tail of epidemics

Brief Answer:
Neither are associated with the development of BPH

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Neither hip trauma nor untreated epidydimitis are not associated with the risk of developing Benign enlargement of prostate.

BPH develops in the setting of age related changes in the architecture of prostate gland.

Why is my epidemic tail swollen it’s been 5 years antibiotics is not really working. And no infection present in urine. Is it that it is a cyst and should I go for surgery. Been taking antibiotics for 3 months (Cipro). Can I take Cipro for longer duration than 3 months

Brief Answer:
Antibiotics should not be taken for prolonged period

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

This is unlikely to be cyst.

Ciprofloxacin should not be taken for more than 2 weeks.

Prolonged intake of antibiotics can be extremely harmful to one's body

Ultrasound abdomen is strongly recommended as earlier stated in my answer to determine further course of action.

The possibility of prostate enlargement is very high.

Review with reports to determine further course of action.
