Will It Be Possible To Get Periods When On Regestrone Tablets?
Question: Hi doctor, I'm 23 yrs old... I had my last periods on 1st XXXXXXX and a xxxx with my husband on 7th of XXXXXXX . Was suppose to have my periods on 1st feb but still now i haven't got it, so I started taking regestrone tablet 5mg 2 per day only one day completed still i will have for 2 more days... Will i get my periods after taking the tablets? Or is there any chance of getting pregnant? My husband had said that the sperms were not ejaculated inside but it was little in when it was wet.. I dont want to get pregant now.. Could you please advice if there is any chance of pregnancy I'm afraid...

Pre ejacuate also contains a few sperms and even one is enough to cause pregnancy; but the good thing is that you had unprotected sex on the 7th day of your cycle which is remote from the time of ovulation. So it greatly reduces the risk of pregnancy though doesn't completely eliminate it.
Don't worry as stress also delays periods. With the above medicine after stopping the drug after 5 days within a week you will get your periods. But to be doubly sure do a urine pregnancy test which in case you are pregnant will come positive by now.

Hi doctor thank you. Sorry i mentioned the date wrongly i had sex on 10th not on 7th is that under ovulation? If i didn't get my periods even after taking regestrone for 3 days wat should i need to take for my periods to come? Is the chance of getting preganant in my case is high?

I would recommend to take regestrone for 5 consecutive days instead of 3 and within a week of stopping the medicine you will get your periods. This should be started after a negative urine pregnancy test. In case you still don't get your periods and urine pregnancy test is negative then we need further tests like thyroid profile and prolactin etc.

Is it possible for a sperm to travel inside though the male sex part is not fully inserted depth and ejaculated? In my case the sperm is not ejaculated at all but as you said pre ejacualtion can contain sperms but that is also happened only XXXXXXX of 1 inch so is it possible for sperm to travel deep inside. So can you tell how much is percentage of getting pregnant in my case? I'm afraid
