Question: are there any problems for a renal tranplant patient to have atorvastatin and fenofibrate tablets.

Patient who has undergone Renal Transplant has a compromised Renal function

Both these drugs are known to cause a condition that results in the breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue, leading to kidney failure hence should be avoided or should be taken with caution .Cholesterol levels can be reduced by other dietary measures.
