Question: My baby girl is 2 yrs old I have concern about her behavior. She is getting too afraid with strangers specially men (with beard/bald/fat) and some frequent visitors also she don't accept, even if guest visit our house she get immediately upset with presence of them. However frequently we are taking her outside mall, markets even though we have not seen any changes. So pl suggest how to change her behavior

Here are a few tips to help your child.
A. Talk to.her
Explain that there is nothing to fear and having a beard is not a problem.
B. Go slow
It.may take a few months for such fearfulness to.disappear
Do not lose patience. Keep talking and explain everytime she cried.Ask her what she feels when she sees a bearded individual.
She may be able to describe some words.
C. Stories
Tell long stories with bearded men daily to make her accustomed.
D. Pictures of beard could be shown intermittently without annoying her.
This might help.her get used to beard.
