1. Bromelain is an enzyme preparation to treat for anti inflammatory uses and indigestion and interacts with the following antibiotics
(i) Amoxicillin
(ii) Tetracycline group including demeclocycline, minocycline and tetracycline

2. Bromelain interacts with antiplatelets or anticoagulants
These drugs include warfarin, clopidogrel and aspirin

3. Bromelain might interact with psychiatric drugs including
(i) Phenytoin and valproic acid
(ii) Barbiturates
(iii) Benzodiazepines including alprazolam and diazepam
(iv) Drugs to treat insomnia like zolpidem, zaleplon, eszopiclone and ramelteon
(v) Tricyclic antidepressants like amitriptyline
(vi) Alcohol
