Which Type Of Capping Is Good And Durable For Root Canal Teeth?

Question: I am currently going through root canal of one of upper left Premolar and doctor will be placing a cap after the RCT. I wanted to know which type of capping is good and life long durable. My first choice is having the one that looks like teeth, I don't like silver and gold etc. But I heard that the white cap can change colour after some time and turn dark. Which type of capping do you prefer and if I can get more details on how to take care of that once placed?

Another question I have is regarding the sensitivity of teeth. I am having this RCT because my teeth were wired for 2 months due to road traffic accident and I gained sensitivity in my teeth. Now I am doing two paste (Vantej and Elgydium) to reset the sensitivity. Can you please help me find out if these are good or I should also do some home care to help sensitivity in teeth.

One more thing I forgot to mention that I also have other 3 teeth which are having a small broken corner because of RTA and the arch bar placement & removal etc. If you want, I can send you picture of one of the tooth. Please suggest what should I do with these, I don't wanna go for RCT of these teeth

I have read your query and understand your concern . As you asking for best crown (cap) I will suggest you Zirconia crown or All ceramic crown . Both crown material look like natural tooth and it last long .

2. For dentin hypersenstivity you can use any of them Vantej or Elgydium . I will also suggest you can also use Flouride containing toothpaste for senstivity. Always Use soft bristle toothbrush to brush your teeth .

3. For other 3 broken teeth if you don't have senstivity and pain then I will suggest you treatment go for composite restoration .

For the three broken teeth there is sensitivity. I don't feel any problem while eating hot but it pains for cold (even water from crock). Please let me know if composite restoration will help for that and also let me know which company's product is best for this procedure.

I tried taking picture of one of three, can't take pic of other two as those are molar tooth. Also uploaded an OPG that happened on 1st Feb (During arch bar application procedure). Please see if there is 1% chance of not going through RCT :)

I have gone through the image and opg you have attached. As far as I have observed,fractured line of all 3 teeth are very close to pulp chamber of teeth. Thus, root canal treatment will give you permanent relief from pain and senstivity.
I will recommend you to consult a good Endodontist, discuss treatment plan and go for treatment .
