Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are five bacterial which are the most common pathogens in bacterial sinusitis.First line antibiotics are amoxicillin, azithromycin or clarithromycin. For persons who live in areas with a high level of antibiotic resistance, fail to improve within 48 to 72 hrs or symptoms persist for 10 to 14 days then second line antibiotics are used.Ceftin is one of the second line antibiotics.
Ceftin is slightly stronger with some bacteria but to reduce resistance, usually first line medication is used first and second line only if it fails.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
