Question: Hello , my 28 years is running and competed 2 years of marriage. From 2-3 months i m trying to conceive but not able to. My height is 5.4 and weight it 67 kgs. I don't have any medical problem as of now. My monthly cycle of of 27 days... Please advice about ovulation date and fertile days.. How it varies... How many time it takes for normal couple to conceive at my age...

Following is my reply:

1) Ovulation occurs about 14 days before next periods.

2) For example if your periods are expected on 30th of May, your ovulation is likely to be around 16th May.

3) Accordingly, your fertile days will be from 13 th to 19th May which is 3 days before and after this day. These are best days to try for pregnancy.

4) Meanwhile get your husband's semen analysis done.

5) It is difficult to say exactly how many days does it take for a normal couple to conceive as it varies in each person.
