When Does One Get Intermittent Rashes Around The Navel?

Question: Hi I have had a rash on and off, around my belly button ,dry skin some red pimples ( maby 5 pimples) It seems to me to be some form of herppies break out. It quites down then comes back. Its dry skin some cracking around the belly button. I treat with creams & neosporen. Should i be conserned.
