Question: my 5 month just started to roll over and now
loves to sleep on his stomach. we can't seem to keep him asleep unless he is on his stomach. we are concerned about sids do we try to avoid this for him but know he needs his sleep as well as us. he can hold his head up well and turns his head side to side while on the stomach. as long as there isn't blankets or anything to cover his face he should be fine correct?? what do you suggest?

This is a normal thing at this age. At 5 months of age, child starts to roll back on the stomach.

Unless, the child is feeling uncomfortable, nothing needs to be done.

After completion of 6 month, the child starts to roll over that is can become supine from prone position.

I think that you should wait for 1 month and everything will be allright.
