When Can C-section Surgery Be Scheduled For A Breech Positioned Baby?
Question: Hi my wife is 37 weeks pregnant and baby is in breech position and doctor said there is no chance for the baby to turn to cephalic position so C section is confirmed. but except for the breech position, the fluid ,baby movements are normal. so doctors said it up to you to wait or get c section done next week itself. I am worried if waiting may result in further complication or should I go for c section next week.

In such cases the surgery is planned after 37 completed weeks. If there is no pain or vaginal discharge and the baby movements are good then you can wait till the baby completes 38 weeks. my wife is 110 KGS .she has lower back pain,pains like mensural cramps and she feels sme pressure in vagina too. Her fluid is also just adequate.As per now doctor said surgery can be planned by you at any time .so I am interested to do in 37 weeks 3 days or 4 days..will that be fine...and baby is also full term..her LMP is 13.03.14..we have confusions in deciding dates ..can u pls clarify doubt's...if baby is taken 3 to 4 days earlier than 38 weeks will make sense?
