What would cause slight ear ache and throbbing in the throat glands?
Disprin gargles and Ibuprofen should help
What you see in the mirror in the throat are generally tonsils or adenoids. They are swollen commonly and it can be due to various reasons. Infection being the chief reason.
If they are just starting to bulge, I suggest DISPRIN gargles thrice a day. I also suggest IBUPROFEN 200mg to 400mg dose thrice a day.
The glands often obstruct the ear tube which connect throat to middle ear and hence the earache.
Since you still do not complain of fever, bodyache, I do not suggest antibiotic. Gargling and pain killers help.
Hope this answers.
Yes body fighting
As I said both those tissues are lymphoid in nature. They swell if they fight something. It could be virus or bacteria.
I still say follow what I said in my previous answer.
