What Type Of Milk Can An Infant Be Given?

Question: Hi,

I have a 6 month old kid. till now he has been drinking mother milk. Now, the quantity of milk at mother got reduced.
So, we are giving packet milk. Question is for my kid do we need to give fatless milk or medium fat milk or full fat milk.

Can you please clarify

Hi,

Any milk will do provided the milk is well boiled and pasteurized. For additional calorie, you can try medium fat or full fat ones. Along with milk, you should also look to start weaning food. Boiled rice with mashed potatoes and dal are good start up weaning foods.
