What Should Be The Dose Of Hepatitis A, B For An Adult And Which Is A Recommended Brand For Hepatitis Vaccination?

Question: i am 26 at the moment & i haven't taken the hepatitis a or b virus as i was anaware of the availability of the same. Should i go ahead with those vaccinations ?
If i go ahead then what should be the dose ?
Which company would be a good one ?

Hello,
You can take the vaccine whenever you wish to be protected.Both vaccines are available. Hep A is given in 2 doses and Hep B in 3 doses.The actual dose will depend on weight and age XXXXXXX and Merck are both pharma companies that manufacture these drugs. You can take either.Consult your doctor about the availability.

Hep A vaccine 2 doses 1ml at 0 and 6 months later.
HepB vaccine 3 doses at 0,1,6 months
There are no long term side effects if the injection is given properly.
