What Should Be Done After A Head Injury?

Question: My husband fell and hit his forehead about 3 hrs ago. He just showed me. Still red and a bump above his left eye. Said he iced it and swelling did go down. He blacked out coming up off of a back inversion machine and his his head on a cement patio. No headache but should he go to urgent care? He is 60 yrs old and 280 lbs

What worries me as a Doctor is a history of ''blacked-out''.
This as well as the head-injury should be seen by a Doctor for clinical evaluation and if necessary CT or MRI as decided by the attending Doctor.

Clinical evaluation of a some blood tests will give an idea whether he has any problem of medical nature or of head-injury.

By getting a normal report, you both will be relaxed and sure about good recovery. If there are some findings , urgent attention will help overcome the present problem and avoid the unwanted complications.
