Brief Answer:
details of precautions are below

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

1) Asthalin inhalers are safe but do not take steroids when you are trying to conceive or during pregnancy. If absolutely needed you can take inhaled steroids but not oral tablets as they can cause anomalies in baby.

2)Yes, you need vaccination for german measles, rubella and measles. Its called MMR vaccine. Get it now before you conceive.

3) Cholecystectomy will not cause problem but keep avoiding spicy fatty heavy food.

4) Blood pressure of 100/80 is alright but get your temperature checked and get a CBC report.

5) If you are getting dizziness you have to increase your calories. You cannot afford to be low on glucose during pregnancy as they are needed by your baby.

6) Avoid allergens and no need of swine flu vaccine.

7) Start taking tablet folic acid 1 tablet per day at night from now till 3 months of your pregnancy.

Thank you so much Dr. XXXXXXX for your reply. As I am planning to conceive in the month of July-Aug, do I need to take follic acid tablets now and get vaccinated with German measles now? Is there any gap that I need to have after taking the vaccination and before trying to conceive?

Thanks,
XXXX.

Brief Answer:
Take both now.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Folic Acid should be taken from now and take the MMR vaccine now. If you planning to conceive in july-august you should take the vaccine in 2-3 days as the gap will then be sufficient.
