What Kind Of Cramps Indicate Pregnancy?
Question: Hello mam we are trying for a baby since 6-8 months we have been married for 7 years and we have been truly trying since the last 8 months. iam using goodova for induction and also hcg trigger for ovulation? this is our second treatment cycle. first cycle i had severe cramps in my premenstrual period and i thought that i was surely not pregnant. I have got my periods on 6th april 2015. then we started on our second cycle and now iwould be day 28 on 2nd may 2015. Iam having occassional mild cramps (they are like premenstrual only but of a far lesser intensity. I usually have breast tenderness atleast 1 week beforre i get my period but this time absolutely no. Iam also using susten 100md od in the postovulatory period. Can i hope for this cycle with these symptoms? and how many cycles can i try like this? Iam already 32 years. My husbands semen analysis is normal. all my relatives say that u may feel like getting your period while u are actually pregnant. I do not want to stick on to false hopes. kindly explain madam...

1) The symptoms like cramping are not indicative of pregnancy. They are more suggestive of periods which are going to arrive.
2) I suggest you do home pregnancy test after one week of missed period to confirm pregnancy which is best way than to rely on these symptoms.
3) You should have conceived in past 7 years if you have not used any contraception. You should also get evaluated if you dont conceive this cycle.
4) Please get HSG ( Hysterosalpingogram) test to assess patency of fallopian tubes.
