The abnormal contracture of the flexor tendon results in fixed contracture of the middle or distal finger/toe joint, also also results in callosities on the extensor sides.
The problem is structural so there is no scope for medicines side treatments.
Definitive treatment is the surgical correction by releasing of contracted tendons and ligaments. The surgery can be done by an orthopedician or a plastic surgeon.
