Brief Answer:
Please do not worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
The the treatment with rabivax consists of 5 x 1 ml injections by the intramuscular route (given on thigh for children) on days 0, 3, 7, 14, 28 after contact with an animal who is rabid or suspected of being so. A booster dose on day 90 is optional.

If your child has taken 4 doses and 5th one is due next week then please give it to her. There is no reason to worry.

Also it is from a domestic dog and most likely the dog was also vaccinated.

These vaccines are very pure and provide complete protection when taken as per schedule.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
