Question: Hi Team ,

Please route this request to Doctor : Dr. T Chandrakant
I underwent Fistula in ANo with Suprasphincteric Abscess in Pace hospital near my Buttocks close to anal - and the wound is still in healing stage and as I said before I am currently in USA .

I have attached the wound picture which was taken few hours back to this query and please advise how long will it take to heal this wound .

Date of Surgery : September 3rd
I am doing sitz batch once or twice a day due to my busy work schedule .
Daily applying Betadine and Hydrogen Peroxide .

I get lot of tickling sensations since last 4 days and I feel like scratching but I wont scratch though . Is it because of Healing ?

Brief Answer:
Sensation is due to healing and will be healed soon.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks again for your feedback and query.
The healing is good, the wound is almost healing.
It looks the Hydrogen peroxide has worked well to reduced the sprouting granulation tissues and enhanced the healing as seen in one of the pictures.
If the progress remains the same, may heal very soon.
Continue multi-vitamins and local applications as you are doing now.
The typical sensations you have explained are seen due to good healing, experienced by almost all patients.
So carry on, all the best for an early and full recovery.
