Question: Can you please tell me looking at my mum's clinic letter does mum have a good prognosis? Is this an early cancer that can be cured? I am worried about mum operation for a stoma will she get through this and how long will she be in theatre for? I have been told it will take many hours and mum can be fixed and cured I would just like your thoughts please. Thanks. Please reply as soon as you can as I am worried sick and making myself ill fretting. Thank you very much for your help

Hello dear. It looks like eaely cancer but the complete treatment needs to be delivered and that is chemoradiotherapy , surgery and chemotherapy. Operarion will last for 4 to 6 hours and stoma is permanent in most of the cases. Possibility of cure is there.
