Brief Answer:

It is sign of improvement

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

As your son has been taken off from Oxygen and is maintaining saturation of Oxygen on room air , it is very good sign.
As the baby is recovering from infection, it will take few days for normal activity to resume.
Initially test feeds will be started , when baby tolerates feeds full oral feeds( expressed breast milk ) will be started.
Your little XXXXXXX is on path of recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Brief Answer:

Increased blood urea is due to decreased fluid

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Blood Urea Is one one of the renal parameter. The most commonest cause for rise in Blood Urea is dehydration due to inadequate intake of water.

If Serum Creatinine (other renal parameter) is normal then there is no cause for concern.

Kindly get back to me with all the Biochemical reports.

Giving adequate IV fluids and starting breast milk will help normalise Blood Urea.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
