Question: MY 6 YEAR OLD CHILE WEIGHT 16 KG HIS SUFFERING IN FITS.
PLEASE GIVE THE EXCECT EPTOIN SYRUP DOSAGE DETAILS FOR HIM.

The dose of Eptoin (phenytoin) is 15 to 20 mg/kg orally in 3 divided doses. An initial higher loading dose may be given to increase the blood concentration of the medicine. Eptoin syrup contains 125 mg / 5 ml. The exact dose would depend on the body weight of your child.

If the child is suffering from fits, the choice of anticonvulsant need not be eptoin only. Your doctor would be able to assess and decide better. Based on the clinician's judgement, the dose also might be varied to some extent. Please visit a pediatrician.
