Question: My wife is 26 weeks pregnant. Recently we had a sonography in which we came to know that AFI level is 6, but Doppler report shows "Normal Doppler velocimetry". My wife is getting frequent urination issue, every 5-10 minutes she needs to go to restroom.

Brief Answer:
It should be more than 10.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Thanks for trusting us with your healthcare.
I have gone through your history and understand your concern.
If AFI is less than 10 it is considered as a low amniotic fluid (oligohydraminos).
You have to drink a lot of water and fluids.
You have to take protein in a form of arginine XXXXXXX
If not improved than need hospitalization for IV fluids and albumin infusion to prevent foetal demise and growth.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck.
Regards
