Brief Answer:
you have probably irritable bowel syndrome

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. Regarding to your symptoms and to your already made examination, it seems like you are having irritable bowle syndrome (IBS). This is a functional bowel disorder, which means, that the structure is normal. Unfortunately, there is no cure, and can be presented with various of symptoms: bloating, pain, changes in stool. This changes can be manifested as diarrhea, constipation or in your case as changes of undefined and light stool. One other symptom you also have is urgency.
There is no real medication which can help you, but lisfestyle changes can make a really good improvement. I will write you some most common advices for those with IBS. Try to intake much more fibres in your meals. There is a lot of fibre in fruit, vegetables, cereals, wholemeal bread.
Try to eat smaller and regular meals. Drink at least 1.5-2 L fluids a day. Try to avoid coffee, alcohol and carbonated drinks.
You can also try to intake probiotics daily. Excercise regularly.
A lifestyle diary can be helpful, monitor symptoms and activities. Note everything that you eat and drink, times that you were stressed, and when you took any formal exercise. This may identify triggers, such as a food, alcohol, or emotional stresses, and may show if exercise helps to ease or to prevent symptoms.

I hope this answer was helpful to you and there is no reason for fear. This is not a disorder which causes visible damage to your bowel like other colitises.
Just try to follow this suggestions.

i understand i need to ad more fiber and more fluids to my diet. my doctor said to take acidophilus once a day. i have and it doesnt seem to change anything. it is a probiotic blend. do you think the problem is wrong type of bacteria more so or just my diet and exersize situation. my stools are soft and half the size of a cigar like i said with no real defined edges. i will have a bowel movement and feel ok and walk outside and feel like i need to have another bowel movement. so i come back in the house and go a small amount and then good for maybe 2 hours or so sometimes. i have not been eating a large amout of fruits and veg. so i understand i do need to change that....anything else you want to suggest to me? thanks

Brief Answer:
Try to intake more fibre

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for your question.

My opinion is that you should try to change your food and try to exercise. Try to lead a diary with food you intake and your followed symptoms for a couple of weeks and then bring this to your doctor. Maybe you are allergic to some food. And try to intake more fibre which will help to change your stool.

I hope this answer was helpful.
