Question: Over 3 months ago I took the walgreens generic brand of plan b pill five days later I started bleeding and went to the doctor a week and a Half later. I was test for chylamidia and G. And a pregnancy test.. all came back negative.. my period came and went but I started to have a lot of discharge and went to the doctor and was told I had an yeast infection. At this point I had no bumps.. 2 weeks layers or less I couldn't get to refill my meds and I used monistat 3 worst idea ever l.. It burned and itched. My symptoms became worse.. I went back to the doctor last week and was told that she doesn't see anything. But I feel fluid filled bumps atthe bbottom of my vagina opening. It burns when I hold my peers but once my bladder is empty im fine. The meds the doctor gave me originally for the yeast infection cause headaches and stomach cramping. The fluid filled bumps pops and come back seconds later. My discharge is whitish yellow at times.. but when I take to long peers its yellow and watery.. and none of the bumps has dried and scanned over the two months that its been there. What is going on? Its been almost a week since i went back to the doctor. She told me not to use any meds. And my vagina isn't red at all.. its just the burning and the bumps that's bothering me. And im scared.

Brief Answer: DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for writing to us. According to your information, you are mostly suffering from repeated Vaginal Infection either Trichomoniasis or Yeast infection. I would suggest to undergo one CULTURE and DRUG SENSITIVITY TEST of the discharge with blood sugar (PPBS) and differential count of WBC to confirm the diagnosis. Additionally, one urine routine examination and culture test will be worthwhile. It will help to determine better drug treatment. Next thing, you have to ELIMINATE or CORRECT some additional predisposing factors like mental stress, lack of sleep, poor eating habits, hormonal imbalance, certain medicines (like hormone pills, antibiotics, steroids etc), weak immune system, Cervicitis, poor genital hygiene etc. To summarize, you have to modify all these things to get effective result. You can consult with your GYNECOLOGIST for proper guidance. TREATMENT: 1) Vaginal suppository with Metronidazole or Clindamycin can be used. Other oral antibiotic can be given according to culture test. 2) Use vaginal moisturizer cream with RepHresh pH gel or VAGISIL cream to avoid repeated infection and maintain vaginal pH. It can be used prior to intimation each time and maintain genital hygiene before & after sex. 3) Wear only clean and cotton underwear. Don't wear any tight fitting cloths or pants to avoid repeated friction/ irritation. Take sound sleep adequately. 4) Take healthy diet as you have mentioned with anti oxidant (like Vitamin -E or C, Selenium, Zinc, Lycopene etc) supplements. Drink plenty of water or juice for better systemic circulation. You must avoid salty, sugary or fatty foods. 5) Avoid chemical cosmetics or soaps or scented bath products around genital area. Don't practice unprotected sex till the problem is completely resolved. Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query. Wish your good health and take care yourself. Regards, Dr Soumen For future query, you can directly approach me through http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/Funnel?page=askDoctorDirectly&docId=63326
