Brief Answer:
Avoid dust, steam inhalation.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

I see similar cases amongst young people who visit my clinic, one month old cough should be evaluated. It could be due to allergic bronchitis, gastric reflux, heart failure, sinusitis(secondary to post nasal drip or medications).

You have forgot to mention the associated symptoms like wheeze, breathlessness, chest pain and hoarseness of voice.

Anyway, I suggest you to to consult ENT surgeon or chest physician and get Xray chest(pa) view, complete blood picture, absolute eosinophilic count and ECG.

Mean time do steam inhalation, avoid dust, take simple antihistamines one tab at bed time till you get your test reports.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
