Brief Answer:
no. it is safe

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
1. Rotavirus vaccine is safe and recommended worldwide including XXXXXXX and US.
You can give the second dose as soon as possible.
2. Probably he is having viral diarrhoea, unlikely to be teething induced. Give him the medicines your doctor prescribed. Ensure he passes urine atleast 6 to 8 times a day.
It will settle soon.
Regards
Dr Arun

Hello Doctor,
Our doctor in India has mandated our child (2 months old) to be vaccinated for Rotavirus and PCV. The same was not even recommende for our first child (almost 5 years now). I wanted to check whether it is really mandatory. My concern is that by giving any unwarranted vaccines, the child's natural immune system should not be affected.

My baby is 3 months 2 days today. Does Poliomyelitis and Rotarix is safe in same day? As both are live live vaccine and does not suggested to take before 4 weeks duration. Moreover Rotarix is suggested to take its first dose within 14 weeks 6 days. So, can I give these two (Poliomyelitis- 3rd dose & Rotarix-1st dose) in same day. If yes, which one should give first? Please suggest. Thanks.

Dear Doc,
As i was follow the government health booklet, so my child is follow the immune schedule on it. It doesn't include Rotateq. So my child miss out as nurse didn't mention it should take at private clinic. so now my child is 18 months plus. What should i do to protect him from the Rotavirus disease since he had no chance to take Rotateq vaccine any more(it only can take at 2,4,6 months). Is Zentel works to protect instead of deworm? Sincerely from Ivy. Thanks.
