What is normal range for ACTH and Cortisol at 10:00 am. Do these numbers get higher throughout the day and then level off in the evening?

Thanks for writing. To answer specifically to your question there are no universally accepted references for ACTH & cortisol at 10 AM. There is a diurnal variation in these parameters and they peak at 8 AM in the morning and reach a XXXXXXX at 11 pm in the night. So a rough guide is ACTH & cortisol are in the upper half of normal in morning and lower half of normal in the evening. So you have to look at that particular lab's reference range to see if yoir values are in the normal range.
Hope this helps
