Hi

Hydrocephalus is a status when the amount of cerebral liquor is increased. It is caused mostly when the pressure is up.

If the process is slow then hydrocephalia is with normal pressure. Those are no risky, hydrocephalus mean than status, increased liquor but with normal pressure
Acute hydrocephalia is urgent, it can be caused by head trauma or tumor or haemorrhage

I hope I have been of help and had clarified your doubds
