What Is Autonomic Peripheral Neuropathy With Sudomotor Dysfunction?

Question: was just told I don't have POTS, which I've been being treated for for 19 months. Dr. said my tilt table test was not consistent with POTS because BP dropped and HR increased simultaneously.That I probably have Autonomic Peripheral Neuropathies with sudomotor dysfunction, can you describe what it is, I'm not finding anything on it

Autonomic neuropathy is a condition where the nerves that control involuntary bodily functions ( blood pressure, temperature control, sweating, digestion, bowel and bladder function ) are damaged.

Most common condition that may cause autonomic neuropathy is diabetes, other possible conditions include infections and use of certain drugs.

The main treatment about autonomic neuropathy consists on correct treatment of the underlying cause (diabetes for example).

Thank you for your answer. Not real helpful to me but could be for others. Mine was caused by an accident but I'm sure having EDS, raynouds and sjorgons syndrome, doesn't help me symptom wise

Those mentioned before are the most common causes of autonomic neuropathy, autoimmune diseases could be the cause as well since you saying that you suffer from Sjögren's etc.
