Hi
Thanks for the query

QRS complex in ECG has a duration of 0.6 to 0.10 sec. It is reported as widened when the duration is more than 0.12 secs. The word non-specific means there is no significant cause for the widening of the waves and it can be ignored. However the causes of widening of the QRS complex are arrhythmias that is conduction defect in the intraventricular septum including ventricular tachycardia, supraventricular tachycardia, high blood potassium levels > 3.5mEq/L and left or right bundle branch block (defect in purkinjee fibers, the conduction wiring of heart). so, This widening shows intraventricular conduction delay meaning that the conduction between the two ventricles that is from right to left is delayed than normal but it is non-specific that is not significant to cause any serious problem.

Hi
Thanks for the reply

its inferior or anterior? because there is no interior. these are the walls of the heart. anterior is in the front. posterior in the back. inferior is below towards downside. anterior MI means there is myocardial infarction of the anterior wall and similarly for others. Actually the people with positive family history are at increased risk. but with healthy life style you combat such conditions. proper check up and evaluation are keys to success.

if you still have some queries, feel free to ask. it will be my pleasure to help you out.

Thanks
Regards
