Brief Answer:
Oral antifungal along with antifungal+steroid combination cream

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcareMagic

I have taken note of your query and I also saw the Images. The area looks inflammed and I can see a blotchy red and white patches..

This seems like candidal/ yeast balanitis.

The cream that you have been prescribed is a plain topical antifungal i.e clotrimazole 1% cream.

This can be substituted with topical antifungal+steroid combination cream e.g clotrimazole 1% cream+beclomethasone dipropionate 0.025% cream.
Steroid part would take care of the inflammation that accompanies candidal balanitis..

An Oral antifungal e.g Fluconazole can also be added. This would be more effective antifungal in addition to topical antifungal cream.

Oral antifungals are prescription drugs. You can talk to your doctor for the needful.
