Question: cysterna magna was 7mm so what happens after 8 monts pregnency now6 months competed.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
If the size of CISTERNA CHYLI is 7mm and less than 10mm at present then one needs to follow the pregnancy with a 2 weekly scan and if anytime it crosses 10mm then one should consider options for early delivery for fear of hydrocephalus developing.
You must seek advise of a paediatric surgeon who is well versed with intrauterine paediatric surgery techniques where shunts can be performed intrauterine as well to remove hydrocephalus.
However at present if the foetus is growing well, then just follow up is required during 2 weekly visits.
