Brief Answer:
Please attach scanned ultrasound report for detailed understanding

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in details.
Being a radiologist, I do many scans each day and would like to see a copy of the ultrasound scan report for better understanding.

The measurements provided by you might have typing errors and I want to verify the measurements of the kidneys by seeing the report myself.

Other than the measurements, there is prominent pelvicalyceal system which means there is slight pressure effect on the kidneys where the urine is formed and the context of this finding can also be completely understood only after looking at the complete report.

However please do not worry as these findings are not a serious concern but it is important to give you the exact information you require after going through the ultrasound scan report of your wife.

Waiting for an update from your end.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer:
Right now not a concern but please get scan done after 3 to 4 weeks again

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

Your wife has a twins pregnancy. Both the babies are doing well.
There is prominent pelvicalyceal system noted bilaterally and in both the babies and this might be due to the increased pressure of the urine in the kidneys. This is of mild nature and not something too serious. However I will recommend that the ultrasound is repeated after 3 to 4 weeks. In most pregnancies this resolves by 34 weeks scan. This will help us know if it is progressing further and if any steps are to be taken for a risk free delivery.

In any twin pregnancy, the baby weight can be at lower limits of normal and this is acceptable. The amount of fluid around the babies is also adequate and normal.

If everything goes on well than ultrasound scans are to be done after birth also just to be certain that the babies are normal.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
