What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Question: My Wife is 6 months pregnant and as per the Sonography report on 6 mt the Left Kidney of my Kid was 12 mm compare to Right Kidney where it was 9 mm.When we went again after a month i.e on 31st August, the left Kidney has grown to 25 mm and right kidney at 10 mm.
I would like to know is there any severe problem to the Kid or the mother? Any Remedies or solution to cure this?

I understand your concerns.

There is increasing growth of one kidney which should be fine.

Other kidney could still be functional

I suggest you repeat ultrasound scan after a month.

One kidney is good enough to live.

There is absolutely no risk to mother.

Thanks for the prompt revert. But is there any way where we can do something to reduce it? Or we need to wait till the child is born? I am just worried coz it increased 100% in comparison to last month.

My Dr. has asked us to come on 20th September to check the status of Kidney.
