What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Question: Hi,
Please find attached latest doppler scan of my wife which is showing improvement as earlier IUGR along with diastolic notch was observed in both Ut arteries but today doppler has shown cord around neck. plz confirm if it is something to worry at this stage. Also as per the LMP (28 XXXXXXX 2016) of my wife she will be completing 9 months by 27 march 2017 but USG is reflecting month a head plz suggest what should we go for...

First of all do not panic.
As per her date of last menses, she should be 37 weeks 2 days of pregnancy.
Also, as on now her color doppler study is also normal , you need not worry about baby's well being.
Secondly, about cord loop around the neck.
At this stage it is not going to cause any problem to the baby. It is only during labour process when baby's head starts coming down the birth canal , baby's heart beats need to be monitored very meticulously.
Before commenting on IUGR, I would like to know if her sonography reports before 20 weeks were showing baby's growth as per her last menstrual period date?
And secondly, from which USG scan, she was suspectedof having IUGR?
I will suggest to get repeat USG done after a week if she does not go on labour process.

Ap per the scan done at 11 week it showed delayed conception by 1 week since patient was also claiming a delay of around a week every month before pregnancy..
IUGR was diagnosed as AC was showing consistently lag of aroind 2 weeks since 24th week upto 33 weeks but as you might have seen All the 4 parameters are showing exactly same length as per gestation.
Thanks and My main concern was now Cord around neck.. We are planning to go for C-Sec not normal so will it be a problem even during C Sec.

I would like to appreciate your valuable inputs about previous USG reports. Even after considering one weeks lag , baby has mild IUGR. But there is no need to worry as the doppler study is showing good flow in the umbilical artery.
Secondly, if she is undergoing LSCS, then cord round the neck will not cause any problem.
