Brief Answer:
8mm measures stones in gall bladder do not dissolve

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Why was the Ultrasound done first? Did your mother had some problem or is it part of regular check up?
I check the report it says mild enlarged spleen and unrelated gall stone of 8 mm.
This is moderately sized stone and may not dissolve on its own.
It is better to follow up with doctor what is the size of stone.
You should just follow good diet practices. I suggest to take Ask A Dietitian about what food can be taken?

Hi doc,

Ultra-sound was done as part of a regular checkup and also doctor suggested to get it done when she experienced pinching pain at one point in her abdomen. Please find attached her complete health check up reports.

I have two questions
1)Can the stone just go by following good diet practice?
2)you asked me the size of the stone, is it not 8mm what is written in the report?
3)What else do you suggest that we should do about it?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Vitamin D supplements

Detailed Answer:
1)Can the stone just go by following good diet practice?
We cannot say for sure if the stone dissolves but the right approach is lifestyle and diet practices

2)you asked me the size of the stone, is it not 8mm what is written in the report?

The stone is 8.7 mm as per the report. I knew it and unlikely to dissolve completely.

3)What else do you suggest that we should do about it?

Vitamin D supplementation is advised. Other parameters are good the TSH was bit high but needs confirmation again by repeating test with free t3 and free t4.
